About IAFT

Founded in April 2004, the International Academy of Film and Television(IAFT) delivers an educational experience that reflects Hollywood roots and traditions. Located on the island of Mactan in Cebu, Philippines, the IAFT offers Certificate and Diploma programs that include significant amounts of hands-on practical experience under the care and guidance of recognized industry mentors.

The school has a specialized curriculum that combines theory with practical application under the mentorship of leading industry professionals. In addition to its finely tuned Certificate and Diploma programs in Filmmaking, 3D Animation, and the Performing Arts, IAFT also conducts various Short-Term Workshops on topics such as Da Vinci color correction, filmmaking with RED Cameras, animation, editing, acting and more.

Through its affiliate companies, Bigfoot Entertainment and Fashion One Television, the IAFT presents selected students with unique internship opportunities to apply their newly-acquired skills to actual feature film and television productions, cultivating the highest creative standards in the next generation of filmmakers.
